Im working for X company.I was with them all through my OPT period and they filed for my H1 recently and they still haven't mailed the papers to me. I got an offer from Y company and when I asked for the H1 papers from X, they sent me the scanned I-797 through mail,and that was sufficient for my documentation for the H1 transfer.I'm pressing them on for my H1 papers ,but they are delaying it giving some lame reasons.
Meanwhile,H1 tranfer for Company B is approved and they mailed me my papers.
Now my question is,would I need the H1 papers from Company A? I didnt go for my stamping yet. I already have papers from Company B and I have the scanned I-797 from Company A.
Please let me know.
