Waiting for H1B Amendment But Visa expiry date is getting closure
Hi,
Need some assistance from experts.
I have Approved H1B VISA till September 30th 2016. I was applied for the location change from New York to Raleigh on Feb 4th 2016. But still its in pending status. I have traveled with I129 and receipt notice to US and currently staying here. I have applied for VISA extension as well. But still I have not got the amendment for location change as my VISA expiry date is getting closure.
1. If I wont get any update on my amendment by September 30th, will I suppose to leave US?
2. If the amendment request goes to RFE, obviously it will go beyond September 30th, so Can I stay in US till I get my amendment as I have applied for the extension as well?
3. How many days it requires to get the amendment as I applied on Feb 4th. Can I change it to premium?
