Reclaim H1B. What are my options? Need clarity of thought
Worked for 2.5 years from 2012 till 2015 on H1B.
Relocated to India and worked there for 1 year. 2015 - 2016
2016 Relocated to Canada on Canadian PR.
I still have around 3.5 years of H1B left. I want to relocate from Canada back to the US.
What are my options?
When I get my new H1B petition done (cap exempt), it will take 2 to 3 months for the H1B transfer (Is this true?). The client will not wait that long.
Should I first get a consulting company which does internal projects and then go for visa stamping and then after I get into the US I can start applying to clients?
What's the best way to approach this situation.
Right now there is this Company A and they are saying that they will do the transfer after I get the client.
I have client B who says they will interview me only if my availability is within 2 to 3 weeks.
