  • H1b transfer

Hi I'm about to transfer my H1b from say company A to B. So I have already booked a consulate interview in India for stamping for company A on 17 the Jan. I have about 2 months now.

It's important for me to go to India and I cannot come back without stamping.

So I wanted to know what is the best path I take from here.

    1. I initiate the visa transfer for company B expecting that it will be approved and go to India and get stamped for company B.

So, here can I change the details of sponsor in appointment and DS160.

    If no:
I've got an interview date by lots of efforts so I'm not sure if I will get a new interview date on new ds160.

More than anything is this option risky if in case there s RFE.

    2. Get visa stamped for company as it is scheduled for company A and continue working for A. Initiate a premium H1b transfer after that.S o that I can join B fast.

    3. Get a premium H1b transfer initially now. Resign from A. Then book a interview date for stamping for B.
Or change the already scheduled interview date in the ds160 and appointment if that's possible.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------
My preference is Resigning from A and staying in India for long and get stamped for B.
