Recently I came to know with one of my friend who went to h1b renewal in India and now he got 221g asking many docs(he works for one company in US).
Now he is kind of stuck in India until 221g gets resolved(he postponed his ticket by 4 weeks). Now if I have to travel to India shall I delay it as much as possible due to renewal stamping issues?
I do not have emergency need but I wanted to travel to sell my small aprtment but I can extend that as its rented right now. Do you know in general how much time it takes when someone gets 221g on renewal stamping? Thanks in advance and have a nice weekend.
My case-
h1b approved in 2013 nov, came to US and extention got approved in june 2016 until 2019 and my I 140 GC is also approved. My wife and kid have approved h4 and my wife has ead approved.
If only my wife visits india will it be easy for her to just extend her h4 via dropbox(still within 1 year)? Shall I delay my travel as much as possible.
