H4 App. in Philippines - Marriage Cert Reqts
Hi,
My husband and I got married in the Philippines last December 2016 (less than a month). He is on H1B and I would like to apply for an H4 to accompany him in the USA. I have read the documentation requirements for H4 from this site. However, specific to the Philippines, does anybody know if it is required to present an NSO certified Marriage Certificate or will the Original Marriage Certificate received and stamped by the Local Registrar already suffice?
NSO processing takes a lot of time (~3-6 months) per my research.
