My H1B expired in January end so I came to India, got married and now my employer has renewed my H1B and has sent me the
relevant documents, (I797, copy of I-129 and LCA). So, I will be going for my H1B stamping and for my wife's H4 as
well (she has never been to US).
The doubt in my mind is that can we go to the embassy for the stamping together, or my wife has to wait for me to get
the stamp first and then she will go to the embassy.
Also, my wife doesn't have a surname in the passport so as per some online opinions I got, I changed her given name to
"FNU" and in her surname I filled her "given name" in the passport. My question is, whether it would work smoothly and
in case it does, would she have any issues in getting DL license etc. in US having her first name as FNU in VISA.
