F1 to H4 Change of Status in Canada

Hi guys,
I am in H1b and working for a company for Last 4 years. I have my i140 approved recently . My first 3 years H1 will expire in 5 months. My wife is in f1 status and we are planning to get her H4 stamping from Canada . Any tips/experience around this will be a great help. Also if possible my H1 stamping. Please share. Do you think there is any risk involve ?
