Some questions on H1-B stamping in Canada from west coast

Hi folks,
I am trying to submit Canada visa application. Could benefit from what others' experience here:
1. What is the main purpose of your visit?. I selected tourism. Should it be tourism or other for H1-B visa stamping as I will there for few days and will do some sight-seeing too once I get the visa stamped ?
2. Proof of means of financial support -> it says a bank draft in convertible currency. do we need this or just a bank statements for past 4 month is sufficient ?
3. Proof of travel -> It asks for travel ticket or itinerary. How to provide this when we still haven't gotten visa yet and Embassy apppointment ?
4. how much funds should I specify in visa application ? Is there a ball park number like 5000 or 10000 ?
