Validity of the I-539 form from the previous employer
Hello Folks!
I have a couple of questions regarding the validity of the I-539 form from the previous employer for my spouse.
I switched the employer last November who extended my H1-B petition but did not extend the H4 for my spouse.
She still holds a an approved petition from my previous employer valid till August 2018. She is on a vacation to India and her travel date back to United States is 2nd September.
Below are my questions:
1. Can she get the H4 visa stamped based on her current petition(from my previous employer valid till August 2018)
2. if not, how long does it take usually to get an approved I-539 form and is it possible to get it in the above mentioned time frame.
