H1B Amendment Query
Hello -
I am using this forum as I am not getting clear answer from my company’s immigration team.
1. I got rolled off from my project from Dallas and got a new project in New York. My company filed for amendment and I relocated to NY. This amendment is still not approved.
2. Now my new project needed me to travel to Atlanta for 4 months and then come back to base location NY, so my company again filed separate H1b amendment for Atlanta (instead of multi-location amendment.. ignorance from my manager). This amendment got approved quickly.
3. The 4 months period will be completed in December and I will be moving back to base location NY.
4. So I want to understand if I will again need a new amendment for NY OR I will be able to move back validly on the 1st amendment which shall get approved in future?
