Hi,
I am currently in my 7th year of h1b. I had an approved i140 petition from my previous company.
I am currently working for a company that transferred my H1b from my previous company. My previous company had filed my i140 and it was approved. Based on my approved I140 my current company filed for my H1b transfer and I received a approval notice for next 3 years. (My current h1b is valid till June 2020)
My previous company has withdrawn the i140 process and my current company has not yet started my green card process.
Can I still switch to a new company because I have n approved h1b petition till 2020 June ? Or will I have to wait till my current company file for my green card and get approved my i140 ?
