H1B to H4 COS/EAD help
spouse on H1 valid till Dec 2017 with a yr left out of the 6yr period and now her employer has initiated her i140 in premium and also filing for H1 extension for 3yrs.
I am on H1 valid till Sep 2018. I am planning to move to H4 EAD concurrently..so this will be COS from H1 to H4 and then EAD all hopefully happening concurrently.
What should i use as change of status date?
i was thinking of Mid-Jan for end of H1 and kickin off h4?
good idea? bad idea?
any thoughts?
