Change of Client while H1B extension is pending with USCIS

Query,

I am working with client A with Employer X since 2 years and filed my extension recently and pending with USCIS.

Now due to project decision ramp down happening. So Can i move to different client with same employer while my extension is pending with USCIS.

Pls advice.
