I have a question regarding eligibility of applying on H1B and L1 in parallel.
Let me describe my situation. I've always dreamed about living and working in the US so I was looking for H1B sponsorship as my current company A didn't have positions in the US at that time.
Couple of months ago I was contacted by company B which agreed to be my H1B sponsor. I went through long interview process and eventually got offer. But just last week my manager contacted me regarding new positions they plan to open in near future so they might apply on L1 as soon as they have more information. And this sounds a bit vague as for me. Also processes in company A are usually slow and I don't want to lose chance with H1B.
1. What if Company B applies on H1B and then Company A applies on L1? Is it legal?
2. If answer on '1' is 'yes' (it is legal) then what visa I get eventually
3. Will Company A be notified that H1B application is already filed by Company B?
