Hello, I am on H1B until May 31, 2018. My sponsor/employer submitted my extension of stay, only to me and not my wife. Why? Because it was going to be at my expense and since we are Mexicans, we can drive to Mexico and get the new Visa and I-94 for my wife.
My Extension of Stay has arrived and it is approved from June 1, 2018 until September 2020.
My concern right now is, if my wife goes by herself to US Consulate and tries to get new visa stamp showing my H1B approved extension, will she be able to get the stamp?
Consider that she will go before May 31, 2018 by herself.
