I have a strange case and I am looking for a solution.
I am currently holding a H1B which will expire at the end of July, I am waiting for EAD and it is almost 80 days since I have not heard. I also got approval for PhD and should submit my legal status as soon as I can.
The professor asked if I need an I20 form to make sure about my status. Should I ask for one in order not to miss the registration?
