H1-B transfert and 60 days rule - Transfert to F2

Hi, I have an H1B tied to an employer that is shutting down their business. I know I have 60 days to file an H1B transfert to another employer. Unfortunately, this period is coming to an end and hiring processes are very slow (I do not have an offer yet). My spouse is a student and owns an F1 visa. I have the following questions:

1) can I change my satus to F2 (spouse of F1) to avoid being "out of status"
2) if scenario 1) works, can I still transfert my previous H1B to a new employer after getting an offer?
3) What is the quickest way to change my status to F2?
