221 g : Applicant has no history
Hi,
I recently took an appointment for my H1B Visa (renewal) stamping in Canada. I have previously gone for the Visa interview 2 times
First Time: June 2014 (Mumbai)
Got a 221g form. Submitted all the documents and got my Visa stamped in 3 weeks
--- My Visa expired in October and I had to go back again for personal reasons ----
Second Time: November 2014 (Mumbai)
Got it renewed successfully.
--- My passport expired in 2016 and I renewed it
Third Time: August 2018 (Canada). Interview still pending
On my application, it shows 221g - Appicant has no history
My confusion is that I already have received a 221g. Shouldn't it show on the records or is it because I now have a different passport number?
Note: All my Visas have been for the same company. I haven't changed my company since my first visa stamping.
