H4 visa dependent student
My I-140 is approved and priority date is November 2015( I am in a long wait list for PR since EB2) and now I'm in H1B and my son in H4 visa. He is in 12 th Grade, of age 17 and applying for universities now. Is he considered as In-state student in California universities or he will be considered as International student? Also in out of state universities also similar rules? Anyone has similar case ? any in put appreciated. Even if he is considered as in-state , once he is 21 age , he has to change his status to International student?
