Hi, my wife is H1 and looking to transfer her visa to her client. We are also Canadian PRs, and I am hopeful of landing a job in Canada soon. With premium processing currently suspended, and no guarantee about how long a transfer might take, I wanted to assess my ability to easily travel back and forth between Canada and the US.
Will anything change with my H4 as her visa transfer is under process? I will carry her current approval notice with me at all times, and if and when the approval does come, both she and I will need to get new stamps, but before that will my travel into and out of the US proceed without any glitches? In the same vein, but separately, is the H1 allowed/advised to travel out of the country in case of an emergency while the transfer is pending?
