I got a 221g for my H1B and I submitted my passport alongwith requested documents for administrative processing. Everyday I check my passport status on http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in/in-niv-passporttrack.asp
For 2 weeks it says "Your passport is still with the embassy/consulate". But today it says "There is no status update available for the passport number submitted". I am very concerned, what does this mean? Can they lose the passport?
From past experience I know that the status changes to "Origination Scan" and then "Ready for Pickup". But this is new and concerning. Anyone else have the same issue?
