Can Spouse for H4 Interview with old approved petiti while H1 Transfer is in progress

My initial Company A and my visa was valid till OCT 2020. That Company A got merged into Company B in Sept 2018. And then they filed transfer from A to B with my new job location. While that is in-progress, Can i send my wife and children for H4 interview with Company A I 797 approval notice. or I need to file H4 with new company details ?

Please suggest if they can go for interview and can bring them here ? If any body faced this situation please share your inputs.
