I am currently on OPT which expires in October 2019. My course is non STEM so I'm not eligible for the 24 months extension. I just started working recently with a State Government agency. Please I want to know if they are CAP exempt. I was so desperate and took this job not minding if they sponsor or not because I was almost getting to he 90 days OPT grace period. Now, I don't know how to approach the H1B subject. If they are not cap exempt, then I have till April 1 to file.
