Urgent, travel to India with change of visa from F2 to H1

Hi,

I have a valid F2 visa and I have applied for h1B visa for this year, but my application is not yet approved. I have to go to India next month for some urgent matters, can I go to India without any problems in coming back?

Also, once I get my H1b approved, do I have to go to India for visa stamping to start working in the US?
