Hi,
I am on H1B visa, I came to US in 2005 May and my husband got H4 visa in 2005 June. I have 4 years old kid. That time my husband attending for visa, my son has no passport so my husband went for visa alone and my husband came to US in 2006 Jan.
My son stays with my sister family, my son got visa appointment in 2006 Feb, and he attended for visa with his uncle in Chennai. They given 221(g) form and asked to attend for visa with his parents. So my husband went to India in 2006 Aug to attend the visa. Again my son got 221(g) and they taken my husbands and sons passport and asked to drop some more medical documents (Which proofs he is our son) in drop box and they said to my husband that he should not go to US with out child. It's too weird.
I don't know how it happened but there records are showing that "I told I have no kids at the time I attended for interview". I didn't say like that, I said I am not taking my son with me. Even my husband also try to convince the VO that he is our kid and may be in tension she didn't hear the question properly, but the VO not satisfied with the answer, she asked to produce the medical certificates of mother and child and all immunization records of child and they taken both the passports.
Tomorrow my husband is going to drop all the documents in the drop box.
Can anybody faced like this problem before? Please help me. I am feeling very bad even my husband also struck in India. Any idea to anybody that when they are going to get there passports back and why they taken my husband passport?
