Hi,
I am currently in US on L1 and my wife is on L2 with WAD. We both are willing to applying for H1 in 07 quota. I think H1 for 07 starts on March, Then the petitions are approved and the visa get stamped.
Suppose me or my wife is already working in US for company A, and company B applied H1 for us.
My question is when can we start working with company B, after getting the H1 approval or after H1 approval and stamping both complete. In the second case it is obvious that we need to go back to our country (India) to get the stamping done. Can we not just stay in US and start working with company B once the H1 get approved?
Secondly even after we got the H1b approval for company B can we continue to work with company A with existing L1 and L2 visa?
