Hi,
I came from India in F2 dependent visa. I filed for H1 this year and I got the H1 approval starting from Oct 1, 2006. But due to personal reasons, I havent started to work yet.
Now my husband who was in F1 visa, has got his H1 this year with start date as Jan 1,2007. Do I need to convert to H4 from Jan 1, 2007 to maintain my status. Or I am valid in H1 as in status- though I am not working? Or Will i become out of status as I am not working?
