My H1 was filed in india in May, 06 and I left India on H4 visa in June, 06 without mentioning my H1 application. Now I got approval for H1 but problem is status of I-94. I have been asked to go India or Canada/Mexico to get new I-94 on the basis of H1 visa and get it stamped. Is it possible to get stamping done in Canada ? Is it possible to enter Canada on my current I-94 and come back with new I-94 (of H1) ? Please help me and let me know.
