the scenario is as follows
3rd year of my first h1 visa from employer A was supposed to be over in jul 31 2004
i transferred my h1 visa to employer B and it was applied on may 2nd 2004. employer b got from the INS the receipt that the application was received on may 17 2004. the final approval however came on aug 15 2004.
i have the original copy of the final approval on aug 15 2004.
however, employer b had only send me a fax of the receipt of application that he received from the INS on may 17 2004 and they seem to have lost the original.
if you notice my first H1 visa was to be over on jul 31 2004 and the date i got the final approval for employer B was on aug 15 2004. will that gap create a problem for stamping when i go to india since i donot have the original of the receipt of application that the INS send to employer B on may 17th 2004.
i however have a faxed copy of that receipt.
FYI i am now working with employer C.
please advice.
