H4 - H1. Can I travel to India on H4.
Hi,
I'm currently at the US on H4. Applying for H1 in April.
So, as everyone says, I might get H1 approval in 6-8 weeks, with eligibility to work from a future date.
a) When will my status change from H4 to H1.?
b) Can I travel to India for a month, on H4 before I start working? If so, do I need to get H1 stamped while coming back.?
Pls throw some light on it.
