Transfer employers. with just h1 approval notice?????

Hi all,

i am on OPT. Employer 1 applied for my H1 and the case is approved, but now i want to work for employer 2. can i apply for transfer before october 1st ot to wait until october and then apply for a transfer???
I have had different attorneys give different suggestions.
can anyone Please give me a suggestion??
