Hi Subramanyam and all,

Why I addressed to subramanyam is , I think I read few of your posts and I feel
he is the person who can answer my query.

I have a query which needs to be addressed very urgently.
I am on H1 B visa and working for a company A.
As I am not satisfied with company A ,I spoke to company B person.
Company B said they will transfer my H1 B.


My question is
1) I am not sure when they can offer me job in Company B.
but they are ready to do my H1 b transfer.I have sent all my docs to company B.Is it any problem ?
2)If i get H1 B approval from company B, can I continue with my current employer(company A) .
is there any chance that my current employer will stop my salary.
coz if there is any problem I would like to stick to company A only.
I can't take risk.

3) I asked company B to transfer my H1b after getting a job through them.
but they are saying from Aug 1 st on wards H1 B processing fee is going to be increased. So they wanted to do it right now immediately.


I am in a big dilemma. Some body please help me out ASAP.

No problem. You can have more than one H1 filed but you should work only one employer at a time. i.e. you can not get two salary for the same period.

You can continue with the same employer. There is no rule that you must join company B

There is no harm to have company B H1 as long as you are not getting the stamping for them. Even you get the stamping for company B, still your company A's H1 is valid untill it expires or they are cancelling.

Subramanian please correct me if I am wrong.
