My wife got her H1B thru a consulting company in Detroit this October-07. She was initially on H4 as I am on h1B.Before she could start working on 1st October, we moved to another state. She decided to not to start working for another couple months because of personal reasons. She is basically on a personal leave.
How long can she stay on a personal leave without working on H1B? She is not getting paystubs because she is not working. I am planning to apply for green card in August 2008. Would this personal leave of her affect my or her green card in any way?
