Dates in December.

I am trying for a visa interview in dec in chennai consulate.

I am looking the VFS site every 2 to 3 hours, but not able to get a date in dec and the earliest available date is 14th jan.

And one member posted that chennai consulate is not working from 21th to 25th in Dec...

Any chances for me getting a date in Dec after Christmas or shall i go ahead and block the appointment on jan 14th.

Pls Suggest and let me know - how many times we can reschedule the visa appointment.
