Need advice of seniors.
My H1B extension from previous employer is pending for 10 months (FBI name check, I was told).
I used portability to accept new job. Started one month ago. The H1B transfer is pending.
My question is--- can I continue to work for new employer indefinately with H1B transef status pending OR 240 day rule applies to me and I have to stop working if H1B transfer remains pending past 240 days.
Anybody else in similar situation?
