status changed from H4 to H1. Now H1 is expiring.....help

Hi! Any one can give suggesion on this situation?

I came to USA on H4.
Later I got the job and my employer processed for H1.
I started working. But still my passport contain H4 stamping only.
Now my H1 is expiring by the end of this month.
Since due to my change of status, I am confussed to renew my H1.

Any help will be appreciated.
