Change of Status from H4 to H1 - Urgent

Hi ,

I have applied for H1 this year 2008.

I got H4 visa Interview on Apr - 26 - 2008 at Chennai Consulate, INDIA and entered US with that H4 in Jun-2008.

So right now i am staying in US with H4 I-94.

My H1 petition is "Still Pending" at Vermont processing center.

I heard that approved petition ( I -129) will come with I-797B (without I-94).
So i have to apply for Change of Status of my I-94 ( I -129 ammendment) once i recieve the approved petition.

As the petition is still pending, i am thinking if it is possible to attach the current H4 I-94 to the H1 petition so that approved petition may
come with I-797A ( changed I-94 of H1 ).

Someone Please suggest me what is best thing to do at this moment.
