I am currently working on L1 (valid I-94, expired petition), want to apply for H1. I have two questions, could anyone help me providing answers to these?
1. L1 stamp is valid till 2011. If H1 is approved, is fresh stamping mandatory even having L1 stamp? Or I can get it stamped before L1 stamp expires?
2. Can I continue in L1 after my H1 is approved this year (2010 H1s) and later switch to H1 after getting a project?
