My 797 has an expiry date of 6/30 and I-94 has an expiry date of 7/10. My previous H1 was approved only for a month in April (SOW expiry was 6/30) and due to this there were some delays from my employer and from my side to submit the docs internally.
It appears that employer may not be able to file it before 6/30 as the LCA is not yet raised. They feel that it is not possible to file the extension before 6/30 as we have only 9 working days left. Do we know whether we can file the extension before the I-94 expiry date?
