Hi,
I work for my client with 2 layers of consultancy right now. Currently, i'm on OPT.
My H1 got picked this time and it was approved as per my consultancy's lawyer. However, my employer has not shared the receipt or the confirmation number with me. He is forcing me to sign a $40k monetary bond before divulging that information.
My client is willing to take me onboard directly under their payroll, but will need the receipt number to start my transfer process, which my current agency person is unwilling to give unless I sign the bond for a year.
What are my options right now ? how can I get my receipt number ?
please advise.
