New H-1B visa cap exempt

Hi everyrone,

Could you please help me clear my doubt in Wheather I'm eligible to file for cap exempt H-1B petition or not. Below is my scenario.

I travelled to US on May 5th 2014 and worked there till Feb 7th 2016 under H-1B visa. My petition was valid from 1st Oct 2013 to 20th Aug 2016. Because of some personal issues I came back to India in Feb 7th 2016 only.

Now I would like to renew my H-1B petition. Am i eligible to apply under cap exempt H-1B?
If yes, the till what time I will be eligible to apply under cap exempt and how many more years I will get to stay in US?
