I am working on L1 currently in the US. Earlier in April this year, my H1 B petition was selected in the lottery. However there hasn’t been any further activity on the case since then. Would it be a good idea if I find another employer and they file amendment before the original petition is approved? If this is possible, and for some reason the new petition is denied, would USCIS continue to process the original petition? Thanks.
