  • Re-interview after 221G White Slip in Hyderabad Consulate

My H1b stamping interview was scheduled on September 26th 2019 in Hyderabad Consulate, VO asked me couple of questions as follow
    Who is my Employer?
    What is my Salary?
    Job duties?
    Give me your client letter
Give me your LCA, which I was unable to present at the moment.

After this, he gave me a white slip 221g, with (b) option ticked and returned my passport back saying we will contact you if further information is needed.

I then received an email from Hyderabad consulate to appear for re-interview on November 1st
In this interview, I was asked to sit for an hour and then a federal officer took my interview.
    He asked me below questions:
When did you go to USA?
Where did you complete your masters: I did my masted in USA
Asked me for my petition, client letter, employer letter and LCA.
He also asked me about the 2nd masters that I am currently pursuing.
Was I ever out of status?
Did I pay for my H1b fees?

After a long 40 minutes interview, I was again told to wait and after a wait of half an hour, I was called by the VO and said we need more time to process your case and returned my passport back.

Has anyone faced this similar issue before? I am more confused with the federal officer taking my interview and not the VO? Would appreciate any inputs.
