Hi All,
I recently got arrested for DUI (BAC of .168) My criminal case has not been filled yet and this is my first DUI. I am working with my lawyer who feels confident i getting my case resolved as reckless driving. I want to know if somebody has gone through this and how it impacted your current H1B status or green card process. My green card has been filed and my I140 is already approved. My current H1B is valid till Jan 2021. But i am wondering how this incident will impact my 1) H1b extension process 2) getting my visa re stamped if my H1b extensions go through 3) my ability to switch companies and getting green card process restarted.
