Hi
Both me and my wife were supposed to go to the Kolkata consulate for our H1 stamping, but had to reschedule the Dropbox submission to the Chennai consulate instead..
Nov 18. - passports submitted to Chennai Dropbox center
Nov 19 - status updated to "passport is still with the consulate"
Now the DS 160 was originally filled with the Kolkata consulate in mind, so when I track my ds-160 with the Kolkata consulate it says "No Status" ( of course ) ...
My question is, has anyone else done this before, and if yes will I be able to track the visa status or am I confined to simply tracking the passport status?
