Hi all,
On Nov 20, I got my H1-B visa approved till Feb 26, 2020 (six years cap ends). But my extension was denied and was asked to leave US immediately for "consular processing".
I also got my i140 approved, but I got it approved only after filing the last extension.
In Chennai, I submitted my documents and passport at DROPBOX. The person told me that it will take 3 weeks. But i heard normally dropbox takes less than a week. is it due to holidays ? or he is just saying the maximum time ???
I filed my last extension after my i797 expiry (2 weeks after the expiry), but 1 day before my i94 expiry. But still they gave consular processing. So will i get direct approval in dropbox OR i will get 221 and will be asked to come for stamping ???
I also have my i140 approved. So below are my questions ?
>>> What if my current stamping is delayed for months (i have approval only till feb 2020) ? Can i travel back even if they return my passport in jan end or feb early ????? OR i should get another extension in india and then go for stamping again ???
