Hello All,
I am currently working in the US on an L1B visa however am interviewing with another company. The other company has apparently done their due diligence and are willing to sponsor me, however I am unsure of what work visa they will offer.
My long term goal for myself and my spouse is to achieve green card status and settle down in the US.
A few important pieces of information:
1) I am a Canadian citizen.
2) I currently work in Healthcare, and have a bachelors, and a masters degree in biotechnology. The same is true for my spouse.
3) I have 8 years of professional work experience.
4) My spouse is currently living in Canada.
Question:
Which Visa would be best to ensure my spouse has EAD status, and which Visa would provide the clearest path to a green card in the US? Please keep in mind that this is not an internal transfer.
