Greetings,
My H1B visa was stamped in the month of May 2010.
In my passport ,I have the Surname field as blank and given name as my full name ie Sreekala Edayath.
I got my H1 B visa stamped as Surname as full name (i.e. Sreekala Edayath) and given name as FNU.
I had got an observation added from the cochin passport office on 16/03/09 to read the Given name as Sreekala and Surname as Edayath. This is before the visa interview in the month of May 2010
If any one has faced similar problems,Please let me know ,If I’m eligible for Visa correction and If yes, Could you please tell me how long it would take for the visa to get corrected and is there any way I can get corrected soon?
