Visa Expired. Which countries(airports) to avoid while travelling to India?

Hi All,

My H1 visa expired last year. But I have approved 797 petition and I plan to go to india for H1 stamping.

1. I heard that while expired visa, one can't go to India thru UK(london). Is that correct?
2. Do you know what are other countries (airports) where I cant take a connecting flight? I am getting some cheap flight tickets thru Brussels, Russia, Switerzerland.

I am very confused. Please help.
